I have a simple chest freezer. 29”x22”x32” probably 5 cu ft. $300 on Amazon. Nothing special. But it’s magic to me because of the stuff I put it in and the stuff I put in it that I forget about! Stoner memory & foodie palate = magic freezer.
I find lots of great stuff in the freezer. Fancy sausages, Denver ribs, veal bones and hairy pigs feet. Just today I found andouille!
Lovely andouille that when added to fresh kale, julienne onion, butter, olive oil and white wine, achieves deliciousness. It reaches greatness when topped with toasted panko bread crumbs.
I would wish everyone with a stoner memory to have a special hiding place for wonderful things to eat.
